Invitations for Bidding (IFB)
Housing Authority of the City of Santa Barbara is soliciting sealed bids for roof replacement of a 4 building, 18 apartment unit complex located at 219-231 Meigs Road in Santa Barbara, California. The scope of work consists of but is not limited to tear-off of existing roofing materials, some lumber replacement, metal replacement and the replacement of underlayment and roofing material per the plans and specifications.
The Housing Authority will receive sealed bids until 3:00 p.m. on the 31st day of May for the proposed work at the Housing Authority Property and Development Offices located at 702 Laguna Street, Santa Barbara California, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. For bids to be considered responsible contractors must attend a mandatory pre-bid conference/job walk at 9:00 a.m. on May 15, 2012 at the job site at 219-231 Meigs Road (parking lot behind buildings).

2. ROOF REPLACEMENT AT 521 NORTH LA CUMBRE ROAD

The Housing Authority of the City of Santa Barbara is soliciting bids for the re-roof of garage(s)
office, recreation room and carports per plans and specifications at 521 North La Cumbre Road, Santa Barbara. For bids to be considered, responsible contractors must attend a mandatory job walk at 9:00 a.m., on April 23, 2012 at the job site (521 North La Cumbre Road). The Housing Authority will receive bids for the proposed work until 3:00 p.m., on May 3, 2012 at the Housing Authority's Property and Development offices located at 702 Laguna Street in Santa Barbara. Bids may be mailed to 808 Laguna Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101 and must be received before the deadline.
