Low Income Tax Credit Program

The Low Income Tax Credit Program encourages for-profit and non-profit organizations to build affordable housing.

Applicants benefit from this access to affordable, below-market rents. .

Apartments offered at affordable rents to eligible seniors

  • Managed by the Housing Authority
  • One -bedroom apartments
  • 2006 fixed monthly rents range from $565 to $684
  • No rent subsidy
  • Income is reviewed annually
  • Must be 62 years of age or older
  • Income limits and rents at or below 60% of area median income
